You don't have to be at breaking point to ask for support. Most people come when the discomfort is already affecting work, relationships, or the ability to decide calmly.
Worries that feel logical but eat up hours of your day. Constant anticipation. Tension that won't ease even when "there's no reason."
Tiredness that rest doesn't fix. Irritability, unrefreshing sleep, the feeling of always being "on edge."
Decisions you keep postponing, relationships that drain you, patterns you already recognize but can't shift. You want to work on concrete, verifiable changes.
The MTPA is our individual psychotherapy model, developed over more than a decade of clinical practice. Three phases with a specific purpose, our own therapeutic resources, and shared team judgment that adjusts the process to what each person needs.
We identify what you're working on, why it persists, and where you want to get to. You leave with defined goals and a clear read on the cycle that keeps the discomfort going. The therapeutic chat between sessions starts in this phase.
New responses (emotional, cognitive, behavioral) start to be in practice, not only in awareness. We work on the patterns identified in the previous phase, with therapeutic approaches chosen for your structure.
The changes settle into your everyday life. This is a phase of consolidating and recognizing the work done. At the end, you decide whether to close the cycle or whether there are new topics for a next process.
Every process is different. These are the situations adults most often bring to AMORH.
Beyond credentials and calendar availability, these traits mark a process with clinical direction. Use them to evaluate any psychotherapy, not only ours.
What you'll work on, how progress is measured, and the next steps, from the initial assessment.
Concrete goals you can verify throughout the process. Defined goals, not abstractions.
Therapeutic resources that fit into your routine. What you work on in session holds up outside it.
Ongoing review of the process. The structure adjusts as you progress, with documented clinical judgment.
Clear boundaries, confidentiality explained, and the rules of the process defined from the first session.
Your case is discussed by the team anonymously. Several clinical perspectives sustain the process, not a single professional.
A small private practice with more than a decade of clinical history. Every case is reviewed by the team under an anonymous protocol, so judgment never rests on a single reading.

A cohesive team, not a directory. Same methodology, same framing, shared judgment.
Melissa helped me uncover what I couldn’t navigate or even see on my own for so many years. I’ve tried therapy in the past (both as part of a couple and individually) but nothing ever truly resonated or helped me break through. With just one session with Melissa, I gained more clarity, insight, and direction than I had from months of work with previous therapists. She truly listens. She has a gift for asking the right questions and offering the kind of support and perspective that help you actually move forward (whether as a couple or as an individual). Her experience shows through in every session. No matter where you are in your relationship with your partner or with yourself, Melissa offers wisdom, guidance, and care that feel grounded, personal, and effective. In couples therapy, she somehow manages to hold space for both people individually while still addressing the relationship as a whole. I don’t know how she does it but she worked what felt like miracles in less than an hour, every single time. Melissa has stood by me through some of the hardest moments of my life. Her support has been not just therapeutic, but truly life changing. I’m deeply grateful for her and can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Melissa you are the best.
Melissa is an amazing online psychologist. She’s incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. She takes the time to truly listen and creates a safe, comfortable space to open up. The fact that her sessions are online makes it so much easier to fit therapy into my schedule while still feeling deeply connected and supported. Her guidance has truly made a positive difference in my life. I also appreciate the AMORH team, who are always attentive and helpful. I highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a compassionate and professional online psychologist.
Ive been going to therapy here for about 3 months now and it’s being the most helpful thing ever. The inicial consultation with Melissa was great, we talked and she helped figured out that therapy was the right call. I was eventually paired up with a psychologist Rosella. She has been amazing throughout this journey. She’s always there when i need her and she’s been making sure i make progress. AMORH, is a great place to go to if you need help. They make everything super smooth and they are all very helpful.
Choosing Amorh was definitely the best decision ever made! They are very accommodating. Alejandra definitely makes me feel heard, understood, and is super supportive. She is constantly checking up on me, asking me how I am doing. Choosing Amorh has definitely changed me for the better. I am definitely satisfied with the help I am getting and definitely recommend Amorh to anyone.
I have been going to AMORH for 2 years and have been seeing Melissa. I live in San Diego and had been to so many therapists in the US before I found out about this amazing facility. I had given up on everything before I met her. To my surprise I slowly but surely have been getting a lot better thanks to her expertise, time and attention. Whenever I needed her she was available and if for some reason she was unavailable I had one of her teams members contact me and aid me in any way possible. When I was seeing other therapists I felt like they weren't all there for me. But with Melissa I obtained a whole different perspective to therapy and to life. She guided me the best possible way to gain confidence and to just be me. It is not just Melissa that has made this whole journey worth it but her whole team in AMORH. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive to your needs. Huge plus is they are bilingual. Not only do they help individuals but couples also as they have helped my parents also in regards to marriage, etc. If you you are looking to work with professionals that not only take pride of their work but also treat their patients with the uttermost attention, look no further, for you have come to the right team to turn your life around for the better!!
I was lucky to find AMORH online since I was searching for a psychology outside the USA just because I have not enjoy the interaction in USA with previous psychologists. As I was doing research I came across AMORH called them gave me a pre screen to understand my needs to determine who would best fits my needs too. I loved that personally also my psychologist speak Spanish and English which makes it easier just incase I need to express any concerns. I’ve been attending since March 2024 with present session. Also they help along the way for hardship situations that I encountered along the way too
30 minutes by phone. No cost. A permanent team policy, not a promotion.
You reserve a 30-minute slot in the calendar. You get a confirmation by email.
We talk by phone about your situation and check whether we're a fit. It's not a therapy session, and it doesn't include a diagnosis.
If you want to continue, we book the first session of the treatment plan. If not, there's no follow-up.
If the calendar doesn't load or you'd like to write first, there are two more ways to reach us.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 8:00 pm · Saturday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
If your question isn't here, message us on WhatsApp and we'll reply during business hours.
Fees depend on modality and language. The main reference is $55 USD (individual video call in Spanish).
Reference fixed exchange rate: 1 USD = 20 MXN
Yes, no exceptions. It's not a temporary promotion, it's a permanent team policy from the start. It's 30 minutes by phone, it doesn't include a formal diagnosis, and it isn't a therapy session. At the end, you decide whether to continue.
We don't work with insurers. Payment is made directly by card (Stripe), bank transfer, or cash for in-person sessions. If you need a receipt for your insurer, we can issue one after payment.
Yes. The Continuous Access Program (PAC) adjusts the fee to the patient's financial situation, for weekly sessions only.
Apply at forms.amorh.org/pac, with a reply within 72 hours. For longer treatments there's also the Treatment Prioritization Program (PPT): prepaid packages with volume discounts.
Both. The main format is video call, from anywhere with a stable connection. In-person is available in Tijuana on a limited basis, subject to office availability.
It's a written channel between you and your psychologist, available between sessions. It doesn't replace the session and it isn't emergency care; it's a clinical resource that gives the process continuity.
It's part of the AMORH Therapeutic Model (MTPA) from Phase 1, at no extra cost.
If you decide to continue, we book the first session: a full clinical assessment. From there we build a treatment plan with observable goals and ongoing follow-up.
The plan adjusts to the real pace of the process, not a fixed script. Every case is reviewed by the team under an anonymous protocol to reduce clinical bias.
Yes. Many of the people we work with are bilingual adults connected to the San Diego–Tijuana region. AMORH serves adults only, 18 and older. It's not an emergency or acute-crisis service.
